Dr. Seaberg is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
Dr. Seaberg is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, an independent, nonprofit organization that certifies surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge. Surgeons certified by the ABS, known as diplomates, have completed a minimum of five years of surgical residency training after medical school and successfully completed a written and oral examination process administered by the ABS.
Dr. Seaberg is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS was established more than 75 years ago and is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. ASPS members have more than six years of surgical training and experience, with at least three years specifically in plastic surgery.
Dr. Seaberg is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
